This project's architecture reinforces the school district's educational philosophy of creating small learning communities. We designed smaller classroom wings with an "academy" arrangement that provide the optimum environment conducive to learning.
The open and welcoming campus layout stimulates community use of the facilities. Its open air ampitheater and main plaza provides access to the theater, administration and gymnasium, functions most used by the public. Its state-of-the-art 1,000 seat theater leans into more traditional architecture with its bowed aluminum roofs and big overhangs reminiscent of old Florida.
